MEET IAN WHEELER
Growing up in the bustling Greater Boston area, Ian was no stranger to the fierce competition of New England prep school soccer. As a proud graduate of the Noble and Greenough School, class of 2008, Ian dominated the field, leading his team to an ISL championship and two trips to the New England Class A tournament. Ian was selected as a Regional 1 ODP player with a talent for the sport. He was part of the historic F.C. Greater Boston Bolts team winning the U.S. Soccer National Championship in 2005.
After honing his skills at Nobles, Ian took his talents to the next level and played for Franklin and Marshall College under the guidance of Coach Dan Wagner.
Now Ian is dedicated to coaching and shaping the future of soccer. He has worked with various club teams in the Greater Region 1 Area and spent time at the Philadelphia Union Youth Academy headquarters in Wayne, PA. Today, Ian calls Weymouth, MA, home with his loving wife, three children, and a 175-pound Rottweiler named Bhalu.
